24/7 Emergency Service!

Roofing Inspection Process

Initial Inspection: This is a free, no-obligation, storm damage roof and property inspection. During the inspection, a Custom Exteriors representative will check the entire home or business for storm damage and hail damage. They will check the roof, siding, gutters, decks, awnings, fences, storage buildings and anything else that you point out to them. Upon establishing that there is damage, the representative will measure, take pictures and diagram all damaged areas. Once this has been completed, the representative will sit down and discuss their findings, answer questions and address any concerns that you may have. If necessary, Custom Exteriors can arrange for emergency and temporary repairs.

Meeting Insurance Company: When you decide to work with Custom Exteriors, we will meet your insurance company adjuster on your behalf to go over the damages we have found to your property. The Custom Exteriors representative and adjuster will meet and agree on the damage areas that need to be replaced or taken care of. The scope of damage to your property will be agreed upon at this time.

Our Project Managers use an estimating program that most insurance companies use called Exactimate. This means no hassle pricing for our clients and the insurance company. By taking price out of the equation, our clients are able to select the contractor that is best for the job, not the lowest bid.  Your only out of pocket expense is your required insurance deductible and the cost to upgrade any items on your home or business if selected by you.

Select Materials: Once the insurance company and your Custom Exteriors representative have agreed on the scope of work that needs to be done or storm damage that needs to be repaired, they will contact you for another appointment. At this time, your Custom Exteriors representative will go over the insurance company “scope of loss” paperwork and finalize the details of your project. You will be able to select colors and styles from samples that are best known, and most used in the industry.

Delivery of Materials: Once the material is selected the order is placed in our production department. One to two days prior to the work commencing, the materials will be delivered according to your instructions. A Custom Exteriors representative will be out to check that all the materials are there to expedite your construction process. If there is anything missing they will notify our production department and it will be delivered promptly.

The Construction: Once the roof installers are on-site, they will take notice of any special instructions for your project. Your Custom Exteriors Project Manager will be there to answer any questions or concerns that may come up. Need a little more text right here in this section to make the 5 and the 6 not so close together. Don't upload this page until we talk about this on our phone call. Will only need about three sent. here and then it will look a lot better!

Final Inspection: Upon completion of the hail damage and or storm damage project, a Custom Exteriors representative will come out and complete a thorough quality control inspection. This extra step insures that we install a quality roofing system on every project.
